Agilent receives VXI Market Leadership Award

Agilent Technologies Inc. has announced it has been awarded the 2004 Market Leadership Award by Frost & Sullivan in recognition of the company's success and leadership in the worldwide VXI market.
Agilent was said to have been selected for achieving excellence in the areas of market share, revenue growth rates, profitability, and market and technology innovation.
"Agilent has extended credibility to the entire VXI market by demonstrating its confidence in VXI architecture," said Karthik R., Frost & Sullivan research analyst. "With its continued commitment to VXI, Agilent is providing the market the kind of support that can only come from the biggest T&M vendor in the world."
"VXI is the platform of choice for applications requiring high-speed data transfer, complex instrumentation, and compact size in a modular format," said Scott Sampl, vice president and general manager of Agilent's Basic, Emerging, and System Technology Division. "The open-standard nature of VXI means that customers have a wide variety of products available from many different vendors."
