Pickering Interfaces introduces RF matrix

Jul 14, 2004

In their continuing efforts to expand the functionality of the PXI architecture, Pickering Interfaces has introduced a new 3U PXI module - the Model 40-726 – that provides a 12x8 RF matrix with coaxial inputs up to 400 MHz.

The 40-726 is available in both 50 ohms and 75 ohm version with SMB or Mini SMB connectors. The matrix provides a non-blocking solution for switching RF signals to 400 MHz. Based on instrument grade reed relays, the matrix can provide an exceptionally long service life in functional test systems.

The module has been designed to be easily expanded through the availability of an optional loop thru capability that includes automatic isolation relays. The Loop Thru systems includes all the cabling that users need to cascade the modules, saving the user time and effort when creating large matrix systems. A 96x8 way matrix can be constructed with 200 MHz BW from just 8 single slot PXI modules.

The model 40-726 is pricing is available on the Pickering Interfaces web site at www.pickeringtest.com
