SMTA establishes new global membership type
Jun 29, 2004
Established in 1984, the SMTA is a non-profit international organization of companies and individuals involved in all aspects of the electronics industry. The association is dedicated to the advancement of the electronics industry through member education and interaction, and members range from students who are newcomers to the industry to long-time professionals who are globally recognized as industry leaders. In response to the demands of increasing industrial globalization, the SMTA has established a new Global Membership type. This level of membership is non-site specific and intended for large companies with multiple locations involved primarily in using SMT or supplying materials and equipment to the electronics assembly industry. The SMTA Global Membership is $1495 annually, which registers one central member holder and ten auxiliary holders at various sites, and all employees worldwide are entitled to member pricing on association products and services. For more information on SMTA membership, visit the Membership section of smta.org, or contact SMTA director of membership services Sis Sullivan: sis@smta.org or 952-920-7682. http://www.smta.org/membership/membership_step_1.cfm
