Tyco Electronics offers Q-Series customers Windows XP upgrade

Tyco Electronics has announced that the company is offering Q-Series and APS-1H customers the ability to upgrade their machines to the Windows XP Operating System. In addition to the ease of use and the fact that Windows XP is a more dependable operating system, further customer benefits including advanced security, increased application compatibility, and Windows file protection. This upgrade will be available on June 1, 2004; Pricing will be determined by customers needs. The availability date depends on the user’s current system configuration, and a CPU, hard drive or memory upgrade may be required.
