HTC`s 2002 beats own forecast

High Tech Computer (HTC) announced today, in a filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE), that the company’s initial financial results for 2002 have met its forecast.The smartphone and PDA maker posted the figures last week, citing better-than-expected market demand and effective control of operating expenses as the reasons behind the positive achievement. Fourth-quarter and full-year, audited figures for Taiwanese companies are not generally available until the end of April.Source: DigiTimes
