iSuppli CEO joins other top technology luminaries speaking at Korean event

Joining an all-star cast of some of the leading thinkers in high-tech today, Derek Lidow, president and chief executive officer of iSuppli Corp., will deliver a presentation this week at the Seoul Digital Forum event in South Korea. Lidow will speak about the changing realities of the worldwide electronics and semiconductor industries and how companies competing in these areas must adjust their expectations and strategies to achieve future success. The Seoul Digital Forum, sponsored by Korea's SBS national broadcasting company, also will feature presentations or statements from more than 20 industry luminaries, including Michael Dell, chairman and chief executive officer of Dell Inc.; Nicholas Negroponte, professor, MIT Media Lab and George Gilder, chairman of the Gilder Group. Other notable speakers at the event will include Seyoung Yoon, chairman and chief executive officer of SBS; Hee-Gook Lee, president of the LG Electronics Institute of Technology and Eric B. Kim, executive vice president at Samsung Electronics' Digital Solution Center. The theme of the event is: Value Reshuffling: Digital Convergence. The Seoul digital forum will take place at SBS headquarters in Mok-dong, Seoul, Korea, on Thursday and Friday, May 6 and 7. Lidow will speak Thursday morning.
