Alcatel to outsource IP phone production to Taiwan makers

Alcatel is soon expected to give initial IP phone orders to Taiwanese makers, according to today's Chinese-language Commercial Times. The paper identified Accton Technology, Alpha Networks and Hon Hai Precision Industry (already merged with Ambit Microsystems) as competitors having already sent samples of IP phones to Alcatel. source: www.digitimes.com
