Web Cast Auction Part of Micron’s Innovative Surplus Equipment Program As part of an ongoing campaign to sell its surplus equipment, Micron Technology, Inc., will offer hundreds of semiconductor tools at a worldwide Web cast auction on June 16, 2004. The auction, which begins at 10:00 a.m. EST, will include equipment from leading manufacturers such as Applied Materials, ASML, Axcelis, Canon, DNS, ESI, FEI Company, Jeol, Kla-Tencor, LAM, Mattson, Nikon, Novellus, Semitool, TEL, and many more. “For years, Micron has been aggressively managing its equipment from acquisition, utilization, through retirement” said Debbie Smith, Corporate Manager of Capital Purchasing. “Conducting a live Web cast auction is a great opportunity for Micron and should prove to be an effective tool in selling surplus equipment on a worldwide basis.” Preliminary catalog and additional auction information is available after May 1 at www.GEElectronicsWeb.com. GE Commercial Finance, Global Electronics Solutions will be coordinating the Web cast auction for Micron.
