Asymtek and Plexus to discuss medical device assembly using jet dispensing at SMTA Medical Electronics Symposium

Asymtek Product Manager Steve Adamson and Plexus Senior Staff Process Engineer Todd Woods will be co-presenting the paper, “Medical Device Assembly using Jet Dispensing for Underfill and Encapsulants,” during the upcoming SMTA Medical Electronics Symposium in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 19, 2004. During the session on Manufacturing Techniques and Requirements, Adamson and Woods will review how jetting fluid materials, like underfill, can accomodate the assembly of ever-smaller implantable medical devices, such as pace makers and hearing aids.
