TT Electronics expands termination networks

May 14, 2004

TT electronics BI Technologies Electronic Components Division has announced it has recently expanded its family of termination networks with the addition of the DDR SRAM family of networks. Designated the BB1110B/BB2110DI Series, these DDR SRAM (double data rate static random access memory) networks are described as ideal for high-speed communications applications and utilize a ball grid array (BGA) connection to minimize electrical parasitics.BI Technologies’ DDR SRAM termination networks feature 18-bit SSTL-2 termination sets and are designed to terminate SSTL-2 Class I and Class II systems in compliance with JEDEC Std. 8-9A. "Our BGA packages offer some of the tightest packaging densities in the industry and our comprehensive family of termination networks provides design engineers with a simple termination solution," said Mike Torres, product manager for BI Technologies. "We offer three different circuit configurations for the DDR SRAM application, plus custom networks which can include screened or chip capacitors."Typical pricing for the DDR SRAM termination networks is $0.40 each in volume quantities with 5 week lead times. For more information, visit www.bitechnologies.com.
