Cold Heat Soldering Tool Heats up Design Community -- Wins Red Dot Award

Cold Heat(TM), the innovator of patented, cutting-edge mobile heating technology, today announces the Cold Heat cordless soldering tool was awarded the prestigious international Red Dot design award for its high quality and intelligent design. The soldering tool received the award for innovative product design in the Industry and Crafts/Tools category. Cold Heat's unique tool, offering instant heat and quick cooling for light duty soldering, was launched worldwide earlier this month and available for purchase through QVC, Amazon.com, and Cold Heat with a MSRP of $19.95.

The Red Dot award was created in collaboration with Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen, one of the oldest and most highly reputed design institutions in Europe. The award, synonymous with quality and style, is highly prestigious in the design community and is awarded to innovative products that demonstrate the ability to combine style and function. For the 2004 submissions, Design Zentrum received more than 1,600 entries from 32 countries.
