Mar 04, 2004
eDFX Services, an electronic design outsourcing firm, has expanded, hiring two new company officers and moving to new headquarters in San Jose. According to Bhavesh Patel, President and CEO, the company’s rapid growth led to the hiring of Paul Burns, a specialist in PCB layout and design, and Gidon Maas, an expert in design and development of high speed board and chip level design. The recent growth necessitated a move to larger quarters. Paul Burns, 48, is eDFX’s Vice President of Layout Services. Mr. Burns previously co-founded and managed Fine Line Printed Circuit Design, a PCB design services company. Fineline was extremely successful, and Mr. Burns sold it to electronics manufacturing services provider Flextronics, of San Jose, Calif. At Flextronics, Mr. Burns managed the PCB design process in San Jose, Boston and San Diego. Gidon Maas, 44, is eDFX’s new Vice President of Hardware Engineering.
