Taiwan’s notebook companies report mixed results in February

Taiwan’s notebook leader Quanta Computer performed better than expected in February with its revenues edging up 0.5% on month to NT$21.56 billion, while second-placed Compal Electronics saw its February revenues decline 17% on month to NT$12.7 billion.Other notebook makers like Wistron, Inventec, Arima Computer and Clevo posted revenue growth ranging from 10% to 16% in February. Major Taiwan brand Acer beat market expectations with its revenues surging 23% on month to NT$8.87 billion in February.Source: DigiTimes
