SMTC announces new Chair of the Board

The Board of Directors of SMTC Corporation announced the appointment of Mr. J. E. Caldwell as Chair of the Board replacing Mr. William Brock. Mr. Brock will remain on the SMTC Board and continue as Chair of the Audit Committee. Mr. Caldwell also will continue as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer until a permanent replacement is announced."I am very pleased with the progress of the Company and its recent successful refinancing" stated Mr. Brock.
