SEMICON West 2004 - Call for papers

Original papers in the area of semiconductor wafer processing technology, as well as test, assembly and packaging technologies are being requested for SEMICON West 2004 SEMI Technical Symposium (STS), being held July 12-14 at Moscone Center in San Francisco, and July 14-15 at San Jose Convention Center in San Jose. The theme of this year’s SEMICON West 2004 SEMI Technical Symposium (STS) in San Francisco will be "Innovations in Semiconductor and MEMS Manufacturing". This year’s symposium will focus on the following topics: environmental technologies and management systems, contamination free manufacturing, equipment materials and processes, operations and facilities management, and MEMS materials and processes.SEMICON West 2004 SEMI Technical Symposium (STS) in San Jose is co-sponsored by IEEE Components, Packaging, and Manufacturing Technology (CMPT) and will focus on solutions that improve the electronics manufacturing process. Topics of discussion will include: 3D packaging, environmentally friendly manufacturing, advanced materials and reliability, cost reduction, and test, assembly and packaging factory dynamics.Submissions are welcome from all persons directly or indirectly involved in the semiconductor industry, including IC manufacturers, academic and research institutes, equipment manufacturers and materials suppliers. Abstracts of approximately 250 words and brief speaker biographies are due January 30, 2004.
