IMAPS Advanced Technology Workshop

The International Microelectronics and Packaging Society (IMAPS) has announced that it is sponsoring an Advanced Technology Workshop (ATW) on Military, Aerospace, Space and Homeland Security: Packaging Issues and Applications to be held March 12 - 14, 2002, at the Renaissance Harbor Place Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland.The technical program will focus on the latest military, aerospace, space and homeland security electronic devices, systems, and applications, with particular emphasis on design, fabrication, assembly, testing, and materials selection operations.Abstracts are being requested for topics including lead free soldering, MCM packaging for military, aerospace, space Applications, outsourcing of military, aerospace, space packaging and homeland security applications and packaging issuesThose wishing to present papers may submit a 200 words abstract electronically by January 31, 2002, using the On-Line submittal form at: www.imaps.org/ abstracts.htmSource: PCBnewsline
