Dec 10, 2003
Dage Precision Industries, the leader in x-ray inspection technology has announced the latest enhancement to their series of digital x-ray inspection equipment, the XD7000 XiDAT large format digital x-ray inspection system. The integrated digital image acquisition technology, XiDAT, on the 7000 platform is said to offer highly improved digital data processing, enhanced resolution, extensive grayscale definition and the Image Wizard software operating system. The Dage XD7000, XiDAT’s inspection area is one of the industry’s largest formats at 20"x24" (573x687mm) making it perfect for the inspection of motherboard, large format network cards and PCBs larger than 16"x18". The XD 7000 offers magnification up to 5800x and feature recognition of less than one micron over the entire 20"x24" inspection area. As a result, the XD 7000, is the state-of-the-art in electronics inspection and fault finding. The XD 7000 achieves its exceptionally high resolution and magnification levels through use of Dage’s proprietary X-ray tube technology, focusing lens and optimized image chain. The level of inspection analysis is controlled by Dage’s Image Wizard, a powerful and easy-to-use operating software, data manipulation and measurement processing engine, all driven by a point-and-click interface.Source: PCBnewsline
