Foundry prices at TSMC, UMC and SMIC to grow 10-15% in 1Q

Supported by rising demand, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) and Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC) expect to raise their prices by an average of 10-15% in the first quarter of next year, according to a report by the Chinese-language Commercial Times today.
