SMT Resource Group LLC, seller, integrator and provider of support and service for both new and refurbished electronics assembly equipment has announced the promotion of Philip Newbury to the position of Vice President of Distribution SalesMr.Newbury has been with SMT Resource Group since 2001 and has been promoted from Regional Sales Manager. Under his former position, Newbury was responsible for the sales of PCB assembly products to the global electronics market. Additionally, he was the Director of Lead-free Business Development and he evaluated key technologies, partnerships, market drivers and products to offer to the customer base. Mr.Newbury also increased the network of resellers and buyers in North America for the disposition of pre-owned PCB manufacturing equipment inventory.“Philip has the statue, reputation, knowledge and credibility to be respected by the representative organization, which is the base requirement to manage,” said SMT Resource Group CEO Eric Berg.
