Sumitomo puts up wiring harness business in China

Sumitomo Electric Ind. Ltd is expanding its operational capacity for automotive wiring harness in mainland China with the establishment of a new business entity called Sumidenso Mediatech Suzhou Co. Ltd. Scheduled for operation in April 2004, the new company will develop and produce wiring harness applications for business equipment. In addition, Sumitomo Electric is scheduled to double the total number of employees at its automotive wire production unit, wiring harness assembly firms, and wiring harness component business in China.Source: PCBnewsline
