Compeq confirms Motorola orders

Compeq Manufacturing, Taiwan’s largest handset PCB supplier, yesterday confirmed an earlier report from DigiTimes that it has been supplying handset PCBs directly to Motorola.We reported in September that Motorola added Compeq as a direct handset PCB supplier. Compeq formerly supplied PCBs to BenQ for use in Motorola handsets. It also supplies PCBs to Nokia.Unitech Printed Circuit Board and Wus Printed Circuit are Motorola’s two other handset PCB suppliers. Chi Mei Communication Systems (CMCS) makes the MPx200 Microsoft Smartphone for Motorola. PCB supplies to CMCS may also be indirectly supplying Motorola.Source: DigiTimes
