IMS introducess high ohmic value chip resistors

International Manufacturing Services, Inc., a supplier of thick and thin film chip resistors and chip attenuators to the electronics industry, announces the availability of new thick film chip resistors offering ohmic values ranging from .1W to 1000 GW. These chip resistors are said to be ideally suited for numerous instrumentation and calibration applications, as well as high voltage regulation, power switching, RF and microwave circuits, and power supplies, on board types ranging from hybrids to printed circuit board mounting. Resistor sizes range from .030 x .020 to .250 x.120. Terminations include gold, platinum silver, and platinum silver with 62/36/2 solder coating. Termination attachment methods include wire bonding, soldering, and epoxy bonding. Bulk packaging is standard with tape and reel available.
