Ya Hsin denies handing over control of its facilities in China
Feb 04, 2008
Taiwan-based Ya Hsin Industrial, which has dabbled in printed circuit board (PCB), LED, DVD player, handset assembly and LCD TV businesses, on January 31 denied a recent Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report saying that the company will hand over control of its production bases in Suzhou and Dongguan to China-based banks since the company is running short of capital and cannot afford to repay its loans, according to a company filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE).
Last year, Ya Hsin ran amiss of TSE regulations when it inflated figures in a 2006 financial statement and failed to submit a revised financial statement to the TSE as required by the Financial Supervisory Commission.
