SX1 Tracking Tag is one of the World's smallest battery-operated satellite-based tracking tag
The Morey Corporation announced today that it will manufacture Numerex's Orbit One SX1, one of the world's smallest and longest-lasting global satellite-based tracking tags. Recently introduced by Numerex, the Orbit One SX1 is the first in a planned series of self-contained, long duration, battery-operated satellite-based tracking tags that can accurately and cost effectively monitor and track assets all over the world. The tag will be bundled with Numerex proprietary software to enable remote asset management, GPS tracking, mapping, display, reporting and data forwarding as part of its Total Asset Visibility (TAV) solution.
Measuring only 7.25"x 3.25"x " (184x83x25mm) and weighing just 13 ounces (369g), the SX1 can be attached in seconds to high value assets such as intermodal shipping containers, trailers, buoys, barges, and mobile generators. The SX1 offers several "peel and stick" mounting options enabling simple implementation on virtually any surface. The SX1 is part of a complete, turn-key, global satellite tracking and monitoring solution offered by Numerex as part of its All Terrain M2M™ services and solutions.
"We selected Morey Corporation based on their track record of manufacturing excellence and their ability to add enhanced durability to our product," said David Ronsen, President of Orbit One, Numerex Satellite Solutions Division. "As a result, we have developed a world-class solution that can be immediately put to use by a variety of customers and industries."
