KIC to exhibit thermal solutions at WIN 2008
Feb 11, 2008
KIC will feature the KIC Explorer and KIC 24/7 in distributor 3s-Technologies' booth, located in Hall 7 Booth B-180 at the upcoming WIN 2008 scheduled to take place February 28- March 2, 2008 at the Tüyap Fair, Convention and Congress Center in Istanbul, Turkey.
KIC Explorer features an impressively compact design that allows the small unit to move easily through the restrictive process dimensions encountered in today's thermal applications. It incorporates state-of-the-art SMT technology and high-temperature rated components, backed by KIC's distinguished reputation for reliability. Users can depend on this rugged, innovative hardware to endure the harsh conditions of real-world factory use and today's lead-free manufacturing.
Modern applications introduce an array of thermal process complexities whereby more thermal profile data is needed. As a standard feature, the KIC Explorer has 12 thermocouples to meet all requirements. The ingenious miniature-TC harness design makes this possible, and it is less expensive than using a standard Type-K thermocouple. (If Type-K thermocouples are preferred, the KIC Explorer is available in a standard Type-K, 7-channel model.)
Acquiring more data in a small unit is only the beginning. The KIC Explorer provides the highest sampling rate available, greater memory capacity and superior data precision. Thermal profile data are conveniently transferred to the user's computer via a USB connection. The KIC Explorer is powered by standard AAA batteries; rechargeable batteries are optional.
