Arrow Electronics to acquire distributor ACI

Arrow Electronics Inc., which provides products and services to users of electronic components, said Monday it agreed to buy distributor ACI Electronics LCI, boosting the company's product offerings and sales staff. Arrow did not disclose the terms of the deal.
The company expects ACI, which supplies electronics to the aerospace sector, to add 3 cents to 4 cents per share to earnings in 2008. Denver-based ACI had about $60 million in 2007 sales, according to Arrow. It serves customers in the U.S., Israel, Spain and Italy.
