TPCA plans PCB industry cluster in Vietnam

The Taiwan Printed Circuit Association (TPCA) has plans to set up a special zone in Vietnam to accommodate Taiwan-based printed circuit board (PCB) makers, as many of them are mulling moving their production from China, which is imposing more environmental restrictions and offering less tax incentives.
TPCA secretary general Chao Chia-chiang (transliterated from Chinese) said the organization has already asked its members to consider a proposal to set up a cluster of PCB industry in Hanoi, Vietnam, exclusively for Taiwan makers.
