The Electronic Components Association (ECA) has honored Dr. Wolfgang Wondrak of AEG Research and Amy Wang of China Outlook Consulting with the Dr. Felix Zandman Industry Leadership Award.
The award is named after the chairman and founder of Vishay Intertechnology. Awarded in conjunction with the CARTS International series of conferences, it recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the electronic components industry.
Since 1998, Wondrak has investigated reliability aspects of semiconductor devices and passive components for high-temperature operation, especially in the automotive industry. He is a member of the organization committee for CARTS Europe, and a long-time contributor to the conference program.
Wang is vice president and co-founder of China Outlook Consulting, a firm that provides marketing research and business development services related to the Chinese market to international semiconductor and component manufacturers, distributors, OEMs, and EMS companies. She has been a principal speaker at CARTS Asia and other ECA events.
"Wolfgang and Amy have made significant contributions to helping people better understand technology and marketing factors that are integral to the electronic components industry," says Bob Willis, ECA president. "They exemplify what ECA and CARTS are all about: Equipping vendors, distributors and service providers with the information that helps them succeed in an ever-changing environment."
