Ya Hsin tops Taiwan PCB companies in equipment investment

Ya Hsin Industrial spent close to 10% of their total revenues on equipment purchases last year, crowning it as the most "investment-generous" company in Taiwan’s PCB industry.In addition to expanding factories and adding additional SMT lines, Ya Hsin spent most of its money on equipment for manufacturing HDI (high density interconnect) boards.Compeq Manufacturing and Hannstar Board trailed as the second and third-largest investment-heavy PCB companies. The two companies both said they have been investing heavily on IC load boards. Compeq is Taiwan’s largest handset PCB company, and its clients include Nokia, Siemens and BenQ.
