Jusung Engineering signs joint collaboration to develop solar cell with CEA

Korea's Jusung Engineering, a semiconductor, display and solar cell device manufacturer, has signed an agreement with the world-class research institute French Atomic Energy Authority (CEA) to co-develop a new technology, a so-called bilayer heterojunction solar cell, as a part of its silicon-based solar cell battery manufacturing equipment business.
The equipment that Jusung plans to provide during 2008 is slated to be installed at the line of INES, a solar energy organization under the CEA, and the joint development is set to run until 2009.
