Foxconn Precision earnings soar over 67% sequentially in 3Q07 on increasing Wii shipments

Foxconn Precision Components, buoyed by increasing shipments of Nintendo's Wii consoles, saw its after-tax profits jump 67.4% sequentially to top NT$3.02 billion (US$93.2 million), or NT$3.78 per share, in the third quarter of 2007, according to a company filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE).
For the first three quarters of the year, after-tax profits gained 47.2% on year, to reach NT$6.44 billion, or NT$8.48 per share, the company said.
