Newark launches "Technology First" initiative with enhanced signal chain portfolio

Nov 08, 2007

Newark has announced the launch of "Technology First", a quarterly in-depth look at specific new and emerging technologies to help design engineers to decipher them.

The focus of the initial "Technology First" is signal chain products, and Newark has added over 1,000 new products in this category. This expansion increases the total number of signal chain products available from stock to over 25,000. Products include data converters, multiplexers, switches, amplifiers, comparators and sensors from some of the world's foremost high-performance analog suppliers such as Texas Instruments, Analog Devices, Freescale Semiconductor, Linear Technology, Maxim, ON Semiconductor, National Semiconductor and Microchip.

Product, along with technical data, is easily accessible through www.newark.com.

Launched in May, Electronics Design World is a centralized, technical research portal for design engineers, which eliminates the need to visit multiple websites and perform numerous searches in order to find current application notes and research multiple design approaches, solutions and new products.

"We are committed to helping engineers design with the best components from the widest choice of leading manufacturers," comments Paul Buckley, Senior VP, Product & Supplier Management. "And with so many new technologies coming to market, we feel it's critical that they have all the information they need to get maximum benefit from them. Superior selection with the support of comprehensive data, is how we define our new Technology First series."
