ViTechnology has launched the Vision 2008 software suite

Vision 2008 is a powerful tool for managing process control more effectively and increase operational efficiency.

Since Vision 2007, more and more customers have actively engaged in using this compelling software suite, and many have praised the new capabilities in the latest version. Vision 2008 addresses the challenges faced by organizations allowing customers to swiftly identify defect and rapidly tune for optimum inspection performance. The platform supports a wide range of applications, including post-print, pre-reflow, post-reflow, post-wave and backplane inspection.

Vision 2008 enables customers to seamlessly integrate their inspection process/application with its supplementary tools such as CAD data import, line quality management tools, program optimization, repair tools and embedded or external SPC tools. Vision 2008 also uses VieWeb to provide a comprehensive and user customizable quality trend analysis and reporting package, enabling root cause defect analysis and process improvement.

Similar to Vision 2007, Vision 2008 is an extensive component library, powered by Vectoral Imaging, incorporating new model types, with mulit-user access capability for model sharing, updating and tuning. It also has the capability to handle multiple languages including Chinese and Japanese.
