NexPower lands new solar cell orders, says paper

NexPower Technology has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with a leading Taiwan-based construction company, announcing the ongoing development by both parties of building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) systems in Taiwan, according to a Chinese-language Commercial Times report.
NexPower signed the MOU with Wei Shun, a leading Taiwan-based construction company, on November 23. The construction company plans to install a solar cell roof top that can generate 90 kilowatts of electricity at a planned project in Hsinchu, Taiwan from 2010, the paper wrote. Wei Shun is the construction company that has handled projects from leading semiconductor companies in Taiwan in the past.
