Pierre Vareille appointed Chief Operating Officer of FCI

FCI is strengthening its top management team in order to accelerate its profitable growth and acquisition momentum. For this reason, the Chief Operating Officer's position is created, effective December 1st, 2007.
Pierre Vareille is nominated to this new position. He will report directly to Jean-Lucien Lamy, Chairman and CEO of FCI.
Pierre Vareille holds both an Engineering degree from "Ecole Centrale" of Paris and degrees in economics and finance. Since 2004, he was CEO of Wagon Automotive Ltd, a leading European automotive supplier. Previously, he held several executive positions in Alcan, Pechiney, Faurecia and GFI.
With operation in 30 countries and sales of 1.3 billion euros in 2006, FCI is a worldwide leading manufacturer of connectors. The group owns 30 manufacturing units and 17 R&D centers all over the world.
