Foxconn enters management team of LED maker AOT

Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) recently officially entered the management team of Taiwan LED maker Advanced Optoelectronic Technology (AOT) by secured three board of directors seats and one position of supervisor, according to an AOT filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) on August 28.
In July, Foxconn secured a combined 46.6% stake in AOT through participation in AOT's private placement.
