Sanmina-SCI and Delphi join forces to address electronics industry needs

Sanmina-SCI Enclosure Systems, a division of Sanmina-SCI Corporation (Nasdaq: SANM) and Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems, a division of Delphi Corporation (NYSE: DPH ) have formed a comprehensive business alliance to accelerate the development of thermal solutions for large-scale electronic computer equipment, including Sanmina-SCI's ECOBAY(TM) line of enclosure products.ECOBAY(TM), the world's first high performance enclosure system, is designed for high density managed hosting applications, such as data storage equipment, high-speed optical switch gear, and other electronic equipment requiring high energy input. The system's unique closed loop chilled water design extracts latent heat from within enclosure cabinets."Technological advances have created a large demand for efficient heat removal from enclosures containing the latest design in high performance, compact, ultra compact, and Blade Rack Mounted Servers," said Michael Clarke, President & General Manager, Sanmina-SCI Enclosure Systems.
