Nepcon UK celebrates 40th anniversary with additional exhibitor benefits for 2008 event
Oct 18, 2007
In 2008 Nepcon, the complete electronics production line event for the UK and Ireland, will celebrate 40 years as the flagship event of the electronics community. As preparations for the 2008 show gain momentum, the Nepcon team announces significant additional benefits for exhibitors to celebrate this milestone event.
These benefits are being offered following extensive discussions with customers and negotiations with the NEC, who together with the Nepcon team recognize the issues affecting the electronics industry. As a result exhibitor's from last year's event can save money by taking advantage of ‘priority booking', with prices held at the 2007 rate until the 31st October. This represents a saving of £1150.00 on a 50m² trilite stand. Free lifting and storage will be available to all exhibitors, helping to reduce costs and post-show invoices and there will be a 10% reduction on 2007 prices for service charges on electricity, air and water - making the running of machinery more cost effective. In 2008 exhibitors will also benefit from a three day build period, making it easier for companies with large equipment to set-up and avoiding expensive Sunday freight deliveries.
"There has never been a better time to be part of Nepcon," explains Liz Finlay, Exhibition Director. "In today's volatile, global marketplace companies know they can rely on Nepcon's established position and its tried, tested and trusted formula. This formula has been created by listening to our customers and continuing to shape the show to meet their changing needs."
Furthermore, the Nepcon team is delighted to announce that following negotiations with the NEC there will no longer be an £8.00 parking fee, making parking FREE for all who attend Nepcon 2008.
Few events can boast 40 successive years of serving their industry and few have been so loyally supported. In post show research Nepcon received high satisfaction ratings from exhibitors and visitors alike, confirming that it is the industry event for buyers in the UK electronics industry. "76% of visitors told us they don't attend any other related show in the UK, or globally," summarised Finlay. "Nepcon is proven to offer its exhibitors a truly unique audience under one roof, helping them to achieve the maximum return on investment out of the event.
