Cal-Comp Electronics lands 3-year partnership with Seagate

Cal-Comp Electronics (Thailand), a Thailand-listed EMS (electronics manufacturing service) provider founded by the Taiwan-based Kinpo-Compal Group, on October 24 announced it had signed a three-year partnership contract with Seagate Technology on October 19 to undertake hard disk drive (HDD) PCB (printed circuit board) assembly.
The partnership will enhance its HDD design capabilities and help boost HDD PCB assembly capacities in Thailand and China to reach full utilization, Cal-Comp pointed out.
