Mentor Graphics announces design kit

PCB design software provider Mentor Graphics Corporation, has announced the availability of the HyperLynx® GHz RocketIOTM Design Kit for the Virtex-II ProTM family of Platform FPGAs from Xilinx, Inc. The design kit is said to allow hardware design, layout and signal integrity (SI) engineers to simulate and implement Xilinx Virtex-II Pro RocketIO multi-gigabit transceivers (MGTs) in their PCB designs through the well-known and easy-to-use HyperLynx interface.
