Mouser and Laird Technologies enter into global distribution agreement

Mouser Electronics, Inc., known for its rapid introduction of the newest products, has announced it has signed a global distribution agreement with Laird Technologies, a leading global manufacturer of electromagnetic interference (EMI) solutions that serve the telecommunications, data-communications, computer, general electronics, network equipment, aerospace, defense, automotive, and medical equipment markets.

Mouser will stock Laird Technologies' fabric-over-foam EMI shielding gaskets, fingerstock gaskets and metal grounding products, as well as board-level shielding products and EMI/RFI absorber foam sheets.

According to Barry McConnell, Mouser's Vice President of Product Marketing, the distribution agreement with Laird Technologies capitalizes on Mouser's core competencies of fast introduction, extensive stocking, and promotion of the newest products to the design engineering community.
