Dr. Abdul Kalam, former President of India visits Silicon Valley

The Indian Institute of Science Alumni Association of North America (IISc AANA) has announced that former President of India, Dr. Abdul Kalam will be paying a visit to Silicon Valley and deliver a speech on India's prospects for a Knowledge Economy including Research, Education and Entrepreneurship.
The event is being hosted by IIScAANA and co-hosted by PanIIT, ICC and TiE Silicon Valley and will be held at India Community Center (ICC) in Milpitas, CA on Tuesday 18 September from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
Dr. Kalam will focus on ways in which he can help marshal and channel Indo-American efforts and capability, to further Indian aspirations and Indo-US collaborations, particularly in research, education, entrepreneurship and rural development in India. His mission is to transform India into a developed nation by 2020.
