Newark recruits Paul Buckley for new role

Newark, a business of global Premier Farnell plc and a leading distributor of electronic components in the Americas, has announced that Paul Buckley has joined its executive team as Senior Vice President, Product and Regional Supplier Management, effective July 31, 2007. This is a new position that reports to DeWight Wallace, President, Newark.
Mr. Buckley joins Newark with over 20 years of experience in the electronics industry, serving in key positions at National Semiconductor and most recently, as Senior Vice President, Supplier Services Group, at Arrow Electronics
"This appointment is one of a number of important investments we are making at this time as Newark focuses on targeting electronic design engineers, while continuing to serve our industrial maintenance customers," said DeWight Wallace.
