Garmin to build third Taiwan PND plant amid climbing shipments

Garmin is building its third Taiwan factory in Linkou (northern Taiwan) on increasing demand for PND (portable navigation device) products, the world's largest vendor of GPS products said in a press release. Initial production at the third Taiwan plant is scheduled to begin this month, it noted.
