EDN's Paul Rako joins Digital Power Forum 2007
Aug 09, 2007
On September 10th, Paul Rako, EDN technical editor, will chair the roundtable discussion "Can Digital Power Really Deliver Improved Efficiency?," a topic sure to be a highlight at this year's Digital Power Forum (DPF) being held in San Francisco, September 10-12, 2007. EDN is the media sponsor for this three-day international conference.
Rako notes, "Digital power management techniques such as PMBus™ have proven invaluable. This area is sure to continue to grow and prosper. I look forward to learning about further applications of digital power management and will be moderating a panel on the realities of increased efficiency using digital power control. Every power engineer should be attentive to these issues and I hope EDN can highlight and clarify them now and in the future."
Key areas to be covered will include facilities energy management and system-level issues when implementing digital power solutions, system-level implementation of digital power management, and research results presented from surveys conducted to determine the trends in digital power product introductions and the industry's perception of the leading products, technology, cost and value in digital control, and more.
