Teradyne earns top supplier honors from Freescale Semiconductor

Teradyne (NYSE:TER) was named Supplier of the Year for 2006 by Freescale Semiconductor. Freescale is a global leader in the design and manufacture of embedded semiconductors for the automotive, consumer, industrial, networking and wireless markets. The annual award honors the Freescale supplier that consistently maintained the best overall quarterly Supplier Performance Rating (SPR) measuring competitiveness, delivery, quality, service and technology alignment for all four quarters of a calendar year. The Supplier Award follows a Continuous Improvement Award presented to Teradyne for 2005 recognizing consistent and marked improvement over time.
