IMAPS to celebrate 40 years of excellence
Jul 13, 2007
IMAPS (International Microelectronics And Packaging Society) will celebrate its 40th anniversary at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center November 11 - 15, 2007. IMAPS began 40 years ago as ISHM (International Society for Hybrid Microelectronics) in the same area.
"It is only fitting that we celebrate this historical event in the place where we started. The area's technology has experienced an enormous growth during those years and much of it is due to the advancements in microelectronics. IMAPS feels that, not only did we begin here, we have greatly enhanced the current and future technology developed in the Silicon Valley and its environs. We invite everyone to attend our best Symposium ever," stated Greg Caswell, IMAPS 2007 General Chair.
IMAPS 2007 will offer five full days of events including: 3 internationally known Keynote Speakers; 18 Professional Development Courses; 30 Technical Sessions; 3 Chinese and Japanese Translated Sessions; 2 Poster Sessions; a State-of-the-Art Exposition; a Free-of-Charge Marketing Forum open to all attendees; and numerous networking opportunities for those who attend.
