Buyersbridge appoints Senior Procurement Manager

BuyersBridge Company has announced the appointment of Michael Chai as Senior Procurement Manager. He is filling a new position created as a result of the growth of BuyersBridge outsourced engineering and procurement services in Greater China.

In this assignment, Mr. Chai will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the buyers, engineers and technicians in four offices in China. He will concentrate on implementing spend management and quality systems to serve BuyersBridge clients in Europe and North America and will report directly to Crystal Yang, BuyersBridge Vice President and COO.

Daniels states that, "Michael has extensive knowledge in manufacturing, product engineering, procurement and general business management. As a resource to manage engineering and procurement programs for our clients, he is a great fit for our business. I'm very pleased that he has joined our company".

Mr. Chai brings BuyersBridge more than sixteen years experience in the manufacturing & procurement sectors with specific experience in aviation and aerospace hardware, electromechanical assemblies and metal forming. Before joining BuyersBridge he served as Vendor Development Manager of Lamton Precision Mechanical Co., Ltd. Prior to that assignment, he served in a management capacity at KONE Elevators Co., Ltd.

Mr. Chai holds a master's degree in International Trade from Northwest Polytechnic University and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gansu University of Technology. He lives in Suzhou, PRC with his wife and son.
