Agilent to demonstrate teaching-lab measurement solution at ASEE 2007
Jun 12, 2007
Agilent Technologies Inc. has announced that it will demonstrate its all-in-one electronic instrumentation training kit at the 2007 American Society for Engineering Educator's annual conference June 25-27 at the Hawaiian Convention Center on Oahu. This training kit is part of a measurement solution that specifically addresses engineering and electronics teaching-laboratory requirements in electronic test.
The Agilent U3000A electronic instrumentation training kit is a standalone training board that simulates a variety of real-world applications. It has eight modes of operation, such as temperature monitoring and waveform generation. It works seamlessly with Agilent's DSO3000 Series oscilloscopes, Agilent 34405A digital multimeters, Agilent E3631A power supplies and Agilent 33220A function generators.
The kit includes teaching and lab material at no additional cost. Also included is an in-depth explanation of common terms and parameters, which save time when creating new teaching and lab material, including detailed explanations of electronic instrumentation topics. The lessons show how to optimize instrument functions.
There will be a daily raffle at Booth 324 to win the award-winning Agilent U1250A Series handheld digital multimeter. Its performance enables simultaneous, accurate measurements and provides the flexibility to perform both quick validation or tolerance checks and marginal-failure troubleshooting.
