Photo Stencil hires pallet product manager

Photo Stencil, a leading provider of premium stencils and additional high-end tooling for the SMT assembly industry, has hired James Petrain as pallet product manager, for Photo Stencil's domestic process carrier and wave solder pallet manufacturing in Colorado.
In this position, Petrain will set up the infrastructure, select material sets, establish design guidelines and help customers with designs to maximize yields in the in the respective processes.
Petrain has over 25 years experience in the electronics industry. Prior to joining Photo Stencil, he worked as senior process engineer for Universal Electronics. With other similar positions at companies like SCI, Inc., Micron Technology, Eltech Electronics and Jabil Circuits, Petrain is "well-equipped to handle and contribute to the fast-paced, innovative environment at Photo Stencil," says Larry Heitz, CEO for Photo Stencil. "We are excited to add him to our award-winning staff."
Petrain has extensive experience in lead-free technology, developing new wave solder and SMT profiles for the SAC305 alloy. He also developed methodologies for reductions in lead-free/tin lead dross recovery.
